Carl Oliver Thorne

BA,MA,PhD

NSPC Role
Research Supervisor

Most of my experience and training is documented in my CV. I have excellent academic research and writing skills in comparative philosophy, religious practices, existentialism and psychoanalysis. I have experience as a university tutor and teacher, as well as experience teaching freelance online for university students in existentialism and philosophy as a way of life. I have nearly twenty years experience in teaching the transformational practices of yoga, aikido and meditation. I studied these activities across the world on immersive courses of up to one year in duration, and with some exceptional world renowned teachers. Recently I began Gestalt training of which I have completed two years at Manchester Gestalt centre. I am familiar with existential therapy. This is something I plan to continue when the time is right, but for now is on hold.
