Courses at NSPC

We offer a range of courses, from short courses to anyone interested in finding out more about the existential approach through to doctorates (provided jointly with our collaborator, Middlesex University).   There are no academic requirements for short courses, or for our foundation course, although many people use this as a stepping stone to our degree bearing courses.  These are all at post-graduate level, and so require an applicant to have a good undergraduate degree in a relevant area.  There are other additional requirements for our two doctoral courses, one for those with the graduate basis for chartering as a psychologist, and leading to a DCPsych in existential counselling psychology and psychotherapy.  The other leads to a DProf in existential psychotherapy and counselling.

Graduation from several of our courses also makes the graduate eligible for a professional qualification: DPsych graduates are eligible for chartering as a counselling psychologist and also UKCP registration; DProf graduates to UKCP registration; and the Professional Certificate in Psychotherapy Supervision and Group Leadership to supervisor status.

Our staff are always willing to discuss the details of our courses and their requirements with potential applicants.  So have a look at the course details and then give us a call if you need more information.  Speak to Dawn or Sasha on 0044 20 7624 0471.
